Following the success of our 2011 Summer Mini-Meet in Colorado, we have decided to come back again in 2012.

For those wishing to attend, remember to book tickets that arrive Friday before 7:00pm and leave Sunday after 3pm.

We have once again concluded another awesome Mini-Meet. While it is difficult to fully put the experience into words, it is easy to put it into numbers:

As you can tell from the above list, it was a scholarly adventure. But memories are not just numbers. They are also pictures, which I've posted on the mini-meet webpage at http://home.zekerdog.com/theassoc/index.php/2012_MiniMeet.

In addition to the pictures, I have also tallied up the costs for our misadventures. While I can't put a price on our kidney's health, the hotels and cars cost about $200/person. I've put a complete breakdown on the Mini-Meet page under Financials.

With the past business out of the way, let's move onto the future. Two exciting events are upon us:

• The conclusion of the 2012 Baseball regular season and the beginning of the playoffs. Congrats to Sharky for posting a new record season win totals and Brian for sneaking into the playoffs for a second straight year. Playoffs begin today and the A.S.S. Series will be next week.
• As many of you were eliminated from the baseball playoffs in early June, this week also kicks off the 2012 Football seasons. Games began on Thursday and today marks the first MNF.

For those of you who missed out on the Mini-Meet merriment, we will be holding the 2013 Owners Meeting on April 5th - 7th next year. I hope to see you in attendance.
